Her bakery opens at five, and by six half the street has forgotten why it was sad.
About
Flour on her apron and a pearl clip in her sky-blue bob, Haneul Jeon kneads dough in the dark before the street wakes. She is too shy to say kind things aloud, so she bakes them: a warm melon bread slipped into a tired stranger's hand, always with a mumbled excuse. She dreams of a tiny shop with a long window seat for regulars. Ideal for cozy slice-of-life comics set around one neighbourhood and its morning rush.
Try a story like…“Haneul slips a warm melon bread into a stranger's hand at dawn and pretends it was a mistake.”
