Yes. Every new account starts with 100 free credits and no card is needed. A page costs 30 credits, so that is enough for 3 pages. Each month you also get 1 free character generation and 5 free script generations.

Yes, for the Starter plan billed monthly: a 3-day trial that unlocks 200 credits right away. It needs a card, and the card is charged when the trial ends.

Comistitch is an AI comic builder. You choose or create characters and write a story, and it plans the panels, draws each page and places the speech bubbles. You can then export the pages or publish the comic.

Yes. The Story step is a text editor, so you can write or paste a full script, with dialogue. Type @ followed by a character name to mention a character you picked in the Character step. Dialogue you write is kept and placed in speech bubbles.

Each time the Panels step analyses your story it counts as one script generation. 5 per month are included on every plan, then each one costs 5 credits. The AI refine button on your story text costs 2 credits per use on the free plan; paid plans include a daily allowance (20 Starter, 50 Pro, 200 Elite) before it costs 2 credits.

Yes. Reroll redraws the whole page and costs 30 credits, the same as a new page. You can switch back to the previous version for free. There is no redraw for a single panel, only for the whole page.

Yes. A cover costs 20 credits and can use up to 3 of your characters as references.

Each character is saved as one reference portrait, and the Studio sends it to the AI with every page. Pick the character in the Character step (up to 10 per comic) and mention them by name in your story. A clear description of face, hair and outfit helps the AI stay close to the portrait.

In the Character step you can describe a character and let the AI draw the portrait, or upload a reference photo. A reference photo is used for the face and outfit only. Every account includes free character generations each month (1 on Free, 10 on Starter, 20 on Pro, 50 on Elite); after that each one costs 20 credits.

Yes. Characters belong to your account, so you can add them to any comic you start. There are also starter characters you can use without creating your own.

There are 21 styles: Manga Classic, Webtoon, Webtoon Romance, Romance Manga, Manhwa, Manhua, Chibi, 4Koma, Slice-of-Life, Comic Noir, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Superhero, Horror, Isekai, Educational, Kids, Semi-Realistic Comic, Storybook Oil Painting, Graphic Novel Painted and Hyperreal Painted. All of them are available on the free plan.

Pages are drawn by third-party AI image models (currently Google's). Your story and character descriptions are sent to that provider to generate the artwork, and we do not use your prompts or comics to train our own models. Comistitch is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.

Open your project and choose an export. PNG joins all pages into one tall 800 px strip (for comics over 30 pages use ZIP). ZIP gives you every page as a separate PNG. PDF is built in your browser from the page images, and you can pick which pages to include.

PNG and ZIP exports from a free account carry a small Comistitch watermark in the top-right corner of each page. It is removed once you have an active paid plan or have bought a credit pack, and you can download the same pages again without it.

A page costs 30 credits. A character (after your monthly free ones) and a cover cost 20 each. A script generation costs 5 after the 5 included each month, and an AI refine costs 2 on the free plan (paid plans include 20/50/200 a day first). New accounts start with 100 credits, enough for 3 pages.

Credits that come with a subscription are reset at the start of each billing cycle, so use them before the cycle ends. Credit packs are kept in a separate wallet from your plan credits.

If a page fails because of a system error, its credits are refunded to your balance automatically and the refund appears in your credit history. If a page is missing and you were not refunded, contact support with the comic name.

Starter includes 750 credits a month, Pro 2,100 and Elite 4,800. Yearly billing costs about half the monthly price per month. If you only need a few pages, one-time credit packs are available instead of a plan.

Open Settings in the app and go to Billing, or use the billing customer portal. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the current billing period, so you keep your plan until then. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel.

If you cancel within 14 days of your first subscription payment and have used no more than half of that period's credits, you can get a full refund of the latest charge. Credit packs are generally non-refundable once the credits are added, apart from an unused pack bought by mistake within 7 days. Email support@comistitch.com with the subject Refund Request.

Comistitch signs you in with your Google or Discord account, so there is no separate password to remember. If you get signed out unexpectedly, clear your browser cookies for comistitch.com and sign in again.

You can delete your account from your account settings. Remaining credits are forfeited, so use them first, and cancel any paid plan under Billing before you delete.

You own the pages and images you create with your prompts and characters, and we do not claim ownership of them. Commercial use is a plan feature: Elite includes a commercial licence on any billing cycle, while Starter and Pro include it only when billed yearly.

Sexually explicit material, anything involving minors in sexual or abusive situations, non-consensual intimate images and deepfakes of real people, extreme gore, content promoting terrorism or self-harm, hate speech and harassment are prohibited. Requests are screened and the AI provider adds its own safety filters, so some prompts may be blocked. A first violation is a warning and repeated ones lead to suspension.
