Down for the count a dozen times, and every time he gets up swearing the next round is his.
About
Between rounds Thiago Ferreira knots his orange headband tighter and mutters a promise to the canvas. The scar over his eyebrow came from his first loss, and he refuses to cover it. He trains in a cramped gym at dawn, wraps his fists the same way every time, and cheers louder for his opponents than for himself. What he wants is one title fight he finishes on his feet. A fit for underdog sports sagas.
Try a story like…“Thiago taps his wrapped fists together and promises the ring that tonight he will not stay down.”
