He lends luck at fair rates and remembers every kindness, down to the last coin.
About
Yoshiro is an ageless fox spirit who keeps a pawnshop behind a lantern-lit alley, his silver-tipped ears half hidden under a maroon haori and a brass bell charm swinging at his sash. He lends luck at fair rates, records every kindness in a thick ledger, and repays each one exactly, down to the last coin. He is quietly lonely and delighted by any customer who returns just to say thanks. Cast him in folklore fantasy, urban-supernatural mysteries, and tales of kindness returned.
Try a story like…“Yoshiro opened his ledger behind the pawnshop counter, found the stranger's name from a rainy day long ago, and quietly repaid the debt with a lucky coin.”
