Troubleshooting

Why this happens: High server load or complex scenes with many characters can increase processing time.

Solution: Wait up to two minutes before retrying. If the issue persists, try simplifying the scene or reducing the number of characters.

Why this happens: A generation may have failed midway due to a temporary AI provider outage.

Solution: Check your comic in the Studio — incomplete pages sometimes appear after a short delay. If the page is missing, contact support@comistitch.com with your comic ID for a credit refund.

Why this happens: Vague story prompts or very short scene descriptions limit the AI's ability to generate detailed artwork.

Solution: Add more detail to your script — describe the setting, character expressions, and camera angles. Regenerating the page with an improved prompt usually produces better results.

Why this happens: Insufficient character descriptions or missing reference images reduce consistency.

Solution: Ensure each character has a detailed description and, if possible, an uploaded or AI-created avatar. The more visual context the AI has, the more consistent the output.

Why this happens: Free-plan exports automatically include a Comistitch watermark.

Solution: Upgrade to any paid plan to remove the watermark from all future exports. Existing pages can be re-downloaded watermark-free after upgrading.

Why this happens: Session tokens expire after a period of inactivity or if cookies were cleared.

Solution: Clear your browser cache, then log in again. If the problem continues, try a different browser or disable browser extensions that may block cookies.
