Free AI Anime Script Generator

This is the one tool in the script family that does not write comic panels. Anime moves, so the output is an animation script: numbered cuts instead of frozen panels, a camera instruction on each one (pan, push in, rack focus, whip), and timing notes where a beat is meant to hold before the next cut lands. Dialogue is written to be performed rather than read, so lines run shorter and lean on rhythm and breath instead of the density you can pack into a speech bubble. Describe the scene, pick a genre and a length, and you get something a storyboard artist or an animatic can be built from directly. Free to use without an account. If you want static pages with panels and bubbles, use the base comic script generator instead.

How the anime script generator works: your input is turned into a ready-to-use result

See It In Action

Input

Premise: A teenage mechanic starts a scrapyard mech for the first time while the town siren is already running. Genre: Action. Length: Short.

Your Anime Script

CUT 1 (low angle, static, 2s): Rust flakes drift off a mech leg the size of a bus. The siren is already going under everything. NOA (off): Come on. Come on. CUT 2 (snap zoom to her hand, 0.5s): Her palm slams the ignition plate. Nothing. CUT 3 (slow push in on her face, hold 3s): She breathes out. The siren keeps running. She hits the plate again, softer this time. NOA: Please. CUT 4 (whip pan up the chassis, 0.5s): Light banks fire along the frame, one after another. CUT 5 (wide, camera shakes on the step): The mech takes a single step and the scrapyard fence goes down with it. NOA: ...Okay. Okay, we are doing this.

Input

Premise: A girl runs for a tram to say goodbye to someone leaving, and does not make it. Genre: Romance. Length: One-shot.

Your Anime Script

CUT 1 (tracking shot alongside her, 4s): MIRI sprints the length of the platform, bag hammering her hip. Street noise only, no music yet. CUT 2 (through the tram window, 1s): KAITO, seated, facing forward. He has not seen her. CUT 3 (static wide, hold 2s): The doors close. Music starts here and not a frame earlier. CUT 4 (close on Miri, 3s, no cutaway): She stops running. Her mouth opens, then does not say it. MIRI (quiet, to nobody): I was going to tell you this time. CUT 5 (rack focus as the tram clears frame, hold on empty rail): Silence comes back before the tram is fully gone.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this write comic panels or animation cuts? +
Cuts. Every other variant in this family breaks your premise into static panels with bubbles and captions; this one writes a continuous action broken by camera cuts, which is what an animation script or animatic needs. If you want panels, use the base comic script generator or the manga variant.
What does a timing note actually tell me? +
How long a shot sits before the next one starts, written as a rough second count or a hold instruction. It marks the beats that carry weight: a three-second hold on a face is a decision, a half-second whip pan is impact. Treat the numbers as intent, not a locked exposure sheet.
Why is the dialogue shorter than in the manga script generator? +
Because someone has to say it out loud. A reader can spend as long as they like on a dense caption box; a voice actor cannot, and a line that runs past its shot forces the edit to wait. Lines here are trimmed to speakable length and the silences are written in on purpose.
Can I build a storyboard from the output? +
That is the intended next step. Each cut names its framing and camera move, so a board artist can draw one key frame per cut without inventing coverage. Feed the cut list into your board template in order and the timing notes become your slug durations.
Does it use real camera language? +
Yes. Expect pans, tilts, pushes and pull-outs, rack focus, tracking shots, whip pans and held statics, chosen for what the beat is doing rather than sprinkled for flavour. If a scene calls for one long unbroken take, it will write one.
Can Comistitch animate the result for me? +
No. Comistitch generates illustrated comic pages, not video. The anime script is for writing, pitching and boarding. If you want illustrated output from the same premise, run it through the base or manga script generator and generate pages from that.
