Comic creation achievements on Comistitch are collectible badges and equippable titles earned by maintaining daily streaks across two tracks — Login and Creation — plus a Special track. Each achievement carries a rarity tier (Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary) that determines the ring and glow color shown on your public author profile, explore cards, and comic detail pages.

Comic creation achievements are milestone rewards built into Comistitch’s dashboard. Unlike points or leaderboard scores — which measure relative performance against other users — achievements measure your personal consistency. Every badge is earned, never purchased, and represents a specific behavioral milestone you crossed.

The system exists because finishing a comic series is a long-term commitment. Motivation spikes at the start of a project and drops predictably during the “middle grind” — the chapters between page one and publication. Achievement rewards are timed specifically to land at those motivational valleys: the 7-day mark, the 14-day mark, and the 30-day mark.

A note on titles: Weekly Visitor is a Common-tier achievement that unlocks a title rather than a badge visual. The title “Weekly Visitor” appears as a subtitle under your name on all public-facing pages when equipped.

Early Access perk: Beyond the badge itself, the 14-day creation streak unlocks new styles and builder features 72 hours before general release — a tangible early-bird advantage for consistent creators.

What Are Rarity Tiers and How Do They Show on Your Profile?

Rarity tier is the most visible dimension of the badge system. Each tier maps to a distinct ring and glow color that surrounds your avatar on every public surface — explore cards, comic detail pages, and your author profile.

1. Common — zinc-grey ring. No glow. The entry points: Habit Forming and Weekly Visitor.
2. Rare — sky-blue ring with a subtle blue glow. Spark Flair and Early Access.
3. Epic — violet ring with a stronger violet glow. Devotee, Cast Expander, and Creator.
4. Legendary — amber-gold ring with a prominent warm glow. Perfect Month only.

The visual hierarchy is intentional. A creator displaying a Legendary amber ring at a glance communicates a 30-day dual-streak commitment. How Do You Equip a Badge and Title?

Equipping is separate from earning. Earning a badge locks it permanently into your collection — you can never lose it. Equipping selects which badge and which title are actively displayed on your public profile at any given time.

2. Your earned badges appear as active cards; locked achievements appear greyed-out with progress shown.
3. Click any earned badge card to equip it as your featured badge. The avatar ring and glow update immediately.
4. If the achievement includes a title (currently Weekly Visitor), click the title card to equip it as your displayed subtitle.
5. Your public author card — visible on all explore cards and comic detail pages — updates within seconds.

You can swap your equipped badge and title at any time. There is no cooldown. If you earn a new Legendary badge you are proud of, you can equip it immediately without waiting.

What Is the Difference Between the Login Track and the Creation Track?

The two streak tracks measure different behaviors and unlock different achievements.

Login track counts consecutive days you open the studio, regardless of output. It is the lower-friction track — designed to reward showing up even on days when you only do the minimum. Login streaks lower the activation barrier to daily creation by rewarding the habit of opening the tool, not just the output.

Creation track counts consecutive days you generate at least one panel or page. It requires a concrete output. Creation streak badges therefore carry a higher minimum signal of creative activity — Early Access (Rare, 14 days) and Cast Expander (Epic, 30 days) tell other creators that you have been producing output consistently, not just opening the app.

• Explore cards — the thumbnail card shown in the explore grid when other users browse published comics. Your avatar ring, glow color, and title subtitle are visible at card size.

This visibility is intentional and opt-in by equipping. Only earned badges can be displayed — there is no way to fake a Legendary ring. The result is a low-noise credibility signal: when a reader sees an amber-gold ring, they know that creator has hit both 30-day streaks in a single calendar month.

This makes February particularly difficult (28 or 29 days in a month shorter than 30 days is an unsolvable constraint — you need to start in a 31-day month or plan carefully for leap years). March, May, July, August, October, and December are your best windows.

What Comes After Earning All Current Badges?
