Invite a friend to Comistitch with your personal link and you each get 100 credits. Your friend gets 100 bonus credits on top of the usual free starter credits as soon as they sign up. You get 100 when they generate their first comic page. Up to 10 invites can pay out. Amounts as of October 6, 2026.
How does the Comistitch referral program work?
There are three steps, and each one has a clear trigger:
- You share your link. Every account has a personal invite link in the form
comistitch.com/r/ABCD1234. - Your friend signs up through it. Signing up with Google or Discord verifies the email straight away, and 100 bonus credits land in their account. That is in addition to the 100 free credits every new account gets, so they start with 200.
- Your friend makes their first comic. Once they generate at least one page, you get 100 credits. A notification tells you both when the credits arrive.

What can you do with 100 credits?
A comic page costs 30 credits, so 100 credits covers three more pages. Your friend’s 200 starting credits come to six pages, enough to finish a short first chapter. The Credits section of the Help Center lists what everything else costs, and what happens to credits when a run fails.
If your friend wants a head start, point them to the character library. It has 186 free, ready-made characters, so they can skip designing a cast and go straight to writing.
Where do you find your invite link?
- Sign in to Comistitch.
- Open Settings and pick the Invite tab.
- Copy the link, or tap Share to send it from your phone.
The same tab shows each person you invited and where they are: invited, waiting for their first comic, or credited. It also shows how many of your 10 slots are used and how many credits you have earned.
Who qualifies?
The program rewards inviting real new creators, so a few invites do not pay out:
- Your own second account. A sign-up with your own email, or from a network you signed in from in the last 90 days, is not credited.
- People who already have an account. The link only works for new sign-ups.
- Several sign-ups from one network on the same invite link.
Invites that do not qualify never use one of your 10 slots. Friends who share a home or office network can sometimes trip the network check. If that happens to a real friend, contact support through the Help Center in the app and we will look at it by hand.
Why we built it
Comics are made to be shared, and a friend’s comic is often how someone first hears about Comistitch. The referral program puts credits behind that. The friend you bring in gets enough to finish a real first chapter, and you get credits back for your own next pages.
